Two white deer get stuffed for display in different parts of country
In Garner, Delaware, a white deer who had become the town's beloved mascot was hit and killed while crossing a highway last year. So the townspeople had her stuffed and displayed on the high school stage, complete with real pine trees. The town's name for the 2-year old albino, (no points for originality) had been "White Deer," and they had renamed a park "White Deer Park" just days before her demise. Some people wanted to put the stuffed animal on display inside Plexiglas in the park, but others thought she might still attract loving bucks in autumn, so no one knows where she'll end up. Closer to home, Lake Mills, Wisconsin also stuffed a local white deer to display in an educational wildlife exhibit at the Glacial Drumlin Trail Office at the old train depot. The majestic buck was a favorite of locals, often wandering as far as Aztalan State Park. In fact, the deer was hit a year ago near those famed Indian mounds. It is thought to have a white daughter, and perhaps another white offspring also seen near the park. According to a story by Anna Marie Lux in the Janesville Gazette, a representative of the Ho Chunk Nation said that white deer have no special significance to their tribe.

Another manly customer wrestled the buck by its antlers to get it out of the store so it could practice some xtreme running.
Victor/Victoria Doe with Antlers
When is a 5-point buck not a 5-point buck? When it's a 5-point doe. Joe Kiefer, a hunter from Chewelah, WA, was happy at shooting the 250-pound whitetail until he began field dressing it and discovered the buck stopped at the antlers. Local papers made jokes about cross-dressing deer, but Kiefer kept the venison just the same.
